ProFuture Club at Gilbert H. Hood Middle School

Vision: To help make the school and the community healthier and safer places in which to learn and to live.

Mission: To help make the school and the community safer places where people are aware of the consequences of bullying, smoking, using drugs, drinking and driving and other risky behaviors.

Action steps: To increase awareness of the consequences of risky behaviors, to promote positive and healthy connections with youth and community members, to develop activities and efforts that increase involvement and advance the mission and vision.

Purpose: By knowing what they are doing, people might hesitate before doing something that could harm themselves and others, physically and emotionally.
